Is the immortals of meluha worth reading ?( part-1 shiva triology)book review.

Hello friends,
Today I am going to review one of the best selling Indian book surrounded by historical and mythological events whose name is the immortals of meluha ,it the 1st part of Shiva Trilogy . Here you will get a detailed information about this book like summary , age limit and lastly my opinion so what are we waiting for let's dive into this beautiful review and read it till last.

My review style

I only review those books which I read so that I have the full knowledge of it and that I can share it with you.
(Chal chal jyada gyaan maat de ðŸ˜€ðŸ˜„)

First of all let's talk the author who wrote this beautiful and adventurous story whose name is Amish Tripathi
he is a historian it means that he loves history and mythology and also it happens to be the topic of this book .

Let's take a brief view about what is the immortals of meluha about-

Summary

It a story about the man named shiva whose karma gave him the title of great mahadev , so basically it is the adventurous journey about the great neelkanth.

Little introduction to the plot(spoiler free)-

It is a story about how shiva and his tribe named Gunas, who were constantly being attack by another tribe named Prakratis, but one day the Meluhan soldier Nandi comes and invites all Gunas to come to the Meluha and as shiva was leader of their tribe so he decides to go to meluha as he wanted peace for his tribe and thought Meluha would provide that and gunas also respect their leaders so they all went to meluha.

Meluha was a city of landscape sceneries and view that shiva had never even imagined (and yet he was unaware about the greatest adventure of his life ) , it was a city of pride and honour, it's health and hygiene, houses and buildings and also it's civilisation were all top notch. Amongst all this Shiva's best friend Veerbhadra was with him all the time . To enjoy thier ultimate adventures you have to read Shiva Trilogy

The story of shiva is divided into 3 parts that's why it is called shiva Trilogy, the name of all three parts in chronological order given below-

                    1. The immortals of Meluha
                    2. The secret of Nagas .
                    3. The oath of Vayuputras .
Age limit (this is an important factor of book review)

I personally think that person above 16 years can read this book because it contains relationships and a little bit of language that children shouldn't read and that's why I told you that age limit is an important factor of book review because not every book is suitable for childrens.

I also think that person above 16 year will understand this book properly and he/she will be able to capture it's humour, also it's book on history and mythology which is one of the boring topics among childrens generally (no offense).

Category of this book-
                                       1. History
                                    2. Mythology
                               3. Fictional Novel
My opinion

Yes you should definitely read the immortals of Meluha,
It is a unique experience and it's a great piece of work by an indian author, once you start reading it's my guarantee that you won't stop it till the last page and at the end there is twist so that you will definitely follow up the 2nd book i.e. the Secret of Nagas

Characters information-

There are lot of characters in this triology but not to worry as Amish sir has made it easy for us by writing the characters names and thier roles at the starting of  the Immortals of Meluha , so it helps the reader to understand the book thoroughly . But it's characters intro will not be repeated in the upcoming parts so my advise is that either you copy characters information in your notebook or take a photo of it from your mobile phone 📱.

But there is glossary given at the end of the book which you can take it as a guide of the book .

Common misconception-

There is a big misconception about this triology that I had , it is that I used to think it is the real story of lord Shiva but it is not ,this character shiva is a fictional character in this book(the immortals of meluha)which Amish sir created and yes i believe that it is inspired from real stories but once again it is a fictional character here. So I hope if you had this misconception than its settled.
