Is the Secret of Nagas worth reading? (part-2 Shiva Trilogy), book review.

Hello friends,

Today I am going to review one of the best novel that I have ever read on indian history and mythology and trust me it is an excellent piece of work, whose name is the Secret of Nagas (part-2 of Shiva Trilogy). Here you will get detailed information about this book like summary, age limit, some dialogues, category and lastly my opinion so what are we waiting for let's dive into this beautiful review and read it till last.

If you want to read my article on part-1 of Shiva Trilogy i.e. the Immortals of Meluha, than link is given below and I request that you read that article first and than read this article so that you will be updated regarding this novel.

Firstly let's talk about the writer who wrote this beautiful book whose name is Amish Tripathi, he is a historian i.e. he loves learning about history and mythology also happens to be the theme of this book.

Now let's see what the Secret of Nagas (part-2 of Shiva Trilogy) has in store for us.

Summary,

It is a story about a man named shiva whose karma earned him the title of great mahadev, he was not a god but his karma made him one.

Little introduction to the plot (spoiler free),

Story starts from cliff that was left at the ending of

part-1(the immortals of meluha),where Shiva and Sati are attacked by the hooded Naga, Shiva and Sati were fighting the Naga bravely but Naga was better and lastly he escaped injuring both Shiva and Sati. Shiva still had so many questions unanswered in his mind about what is evil?, How he will discover it ?, There are his allies 'The Vasudevs'.

But the real question is-

will Shiva find the secret of Nagas?

Are Nagas good or bad?

Is Shiva connected to them?

To get answers of this questions you have 2 options either you read the Secret of Nagas (part-2 Shiva Trilogy), or you read the article that i am going to write about what is the real Secret of Nagas? There will be heavy spoilers present. I will provide you the link below.

The story of shiva is divided into 3 parts and they are-

                  1. The Immortals of Meluha.

                     2.  The Secret of Nagas.

                     3. The Oath of Vayuputras.

Some beautiful dialogues-

1.   Opposite of love is not hate. Hate is just love gone bad. The actual opposite of love is apathy meaning you don't care a damn as to what happens to the other person.

2.   Justice exists for good of the universe. To maintain balance . It does not exist to ignite hatred .

Age limit (this is an important factor of book review)

I personally think that person above 16 years of age should read this Triology and also particularly this book because there a adult humour present and I think that children shouldn't read this , also they generally get bored by the mythology.

Category-           1. History.

                          2. Mythology.

                           3. Fictional Novel.

My opinion-

I think you should definitely read this book, it will provide you new experience. I also think that while reading the Secret of Nagas, you are going to get a vibe of your social studies especially if you are an indian. As mainly all the rivers flowing in India are mentioned here. And at the end there will be a big surprise twist so you better get ready for final and last adventure i.e. the Oath of Vayuputras (part-3 of Shiva Trilogy).

Characters information-

You will be provided the characters list and it's  information at the starting of the book in its preface.

Conclusion-

This was my book review on 2nd part of Shiva Trilogy i.e. the Secret of Nagas, I hope it helped you and now you can decide that you are going to read it or not. Comment down if you are going to read it or not.
